Thank you for Participating! See you Tonight for Lights on Tampa!

Many thanks to everyone who participated in the “Shedding Light” project. We received hundreds of submissions and hope to see everyone tonight at the Lights On Tampa Biennial Celebration in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa. The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, February 19, at 5:30 p.m.. and will last until 11 p.m. “Shedding Light” is one of three videos that will appear on a newly constructed video portal in the park, Tampa’s gateway through the arts. This video blends our own video work with images submitted by the public that share unusual moments of light from around the City of Tampa. The “Shedding Light” project includes the video for the park, an online exhibition, and school contests. While we were only able to feature a limited number of images for the park video, additional images appear online (See “Flickr” link to galleries). All participants whose work was chosen have been notified. Also, the winners of school competitions have been selected. See the credits below. We are attempting to contact all school winners–if you have not received notice or reward, contact sheddinglightproject@gmail.com and send a copy to juliet.davis@ut.edu. Once again, we thank you for your submission, and congratulations to everyone for participating!

Sincerely, Juliet Davis and Stephanie Tripp
